Wyken Vineyards near Stanton hosts summer solstice celebration




An evening of music, food and sunshine is set to take place at a popular vineyard to celebrate the summer solstice.

The event will be taking place on Friday, June 20 at Wyken Vineyards, near Stanton, in its orchard setting.

An organiser said: “It’s a perfect way to soak up the summer evening with friends, picnic blankets and a glass in hand.”

Food will be available throughout the event with a seasonal menu by Amélie Restaurant – including their signature flammekueche on offer.

The event will feature acoustic performances from singer-songwriter Will Robert with live sets from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and again from 8pm to 9pm.

There will also be laid-back garden games set up around the vineyard to create a fun and sociable atmosphere.

Entry is £5 (including all fees) which gives full access to the orchard and all performances.
