Swinging 60s story by top mask and mime theatre company
The UK’s leading full mask theatre company, Vamos Theatre, will return to the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds on April 5 with a new show after the success of Nursing Lives last year.
The story is set in 1966. The record player’s on, her hair’s bobbed and eyelashes curled.
For 17-year-old Susan, life is an adventure waiting to begin.
But what happens next turns everything upside down, and its repercussions will last for decades to come.
Funny, heartbreaking and human, The Best Thing is the latest production from Vamos, described by many as the best mask/mime theatre company there is.
Age guidance for the production is 12 and above.
For tickets, which cost £16.50 for adults and £8.50 with concessions, and further details please call the Theatre Royal box office on 01284 769505 or visit www.theatreroyal.org.
