Ronnie Scott’s resident singer to play in Bury St Edmunds
After kicking off a national tour at Ronnie Scott’s, UK jazz star Georgina Jackson is all set to wow Bury St Edmonds on Sunday, May 22.
The trumpet-playing singer, compared to Diana Krall by the Sunday Times, is resident singer at Ronnie Scott’s in London.
Her big band background ensures every gig goes with a real swing.
She is being supported by the renowned and highly talented trio of Chris Ingham on piano, Dave Green on bass and George Double on drums.
Tour organiser, George Double said: “Georgina is one of this country’s jazz jewels.
She has recorded two very successful albums and has performed on BBC Radio Two, including on Friday Night is Music Night. This tour will appeal to all those who enjoy their jazz sassy and bold.”
