Plenty on offer for the family at the 2016 Hadleigh Show
The 177th Hadleigh Show takes place at Holbecks Park on Saturday, May 21.
This year the show will include the Royal Signals White Helmets Display Team performing spectacular feats of balance, death defying crossover rides and outstanding acrobatics.
Other entertainment includes The Sheep Show, the Young Farmers Tug-O-War, falconry and ferret displays, The Dog & Duck Show, Dog Agility by TAG and a farm machinery parade.
There are more than 150 classes of cattle, sheep, goats and horses on show; over 160 trade stands; the Art Exhibition and Sale; Rural Crafts and the Flower Tent; the Education Tent features art from local schools and you can even try milking a cow!
New this year is a cookery demonstration area where various chefs led by Malcolm Long of Assington Country Kitchen will be cooking throughout the day.
The Food Hall will as usual showcase the very best of our local food and drink producers whilst 2 Food Court areas will provide lunch for all the family.
Advance tickets can be purchased on-line at www.hadleighshow.co.uk as well as the usual retail outlets; Avis Newsagents, Hadleigh; Hollow Tree Farm Shop, Semer; Boxford Post Office; Bates Wells & Braithwaite, Sudbury; Hall Farm Shop, Stratford-St-Mary, Hintlesham Barns and Elmsett Post Office and Stores.
Prices remain the same as last year. If booking before Friday May 20, visitors can take advantage of the ‘Early-Bird Discount’, which reduces a Family Ticket (2 Adults with up to 3 Children) to just £24.
Other Early Bird prices are: Adults £9 (£12 on day); children aged 5-16; £5 (£7 on day); senior citizens; £7 (£10 on day).
Parking is free; gates open at 8am.
