Saturday Night Fever and The Adventures of Robin Hood will be screened in the historic walled garden at Brandon Country Park on August 13 and 14.

Suffolk Cinema Network is supporting the one-off weekend of outdoor cinema.

Saturday Night Fever will be screened on Saturday and The Adventures of Robin Hood, with Errol Flynn, on Sunday. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start.

Tickets costing £7.50 or £5 for concessions (OAP and students) are available from the visitor centre at Brandon Country Park or on the door on the night.

A light supper buffet will be served from 6pm £8.50 per person.

David Falk, who runs Brandon Country Park, said: “I’m delighted to be able to work with Suffolk Cinema Network and bring cinema to Brandon. Our walled garden has been the setting for many events, but this will be unique. I cannot wait.”

Suffolk Cinema Network enables pop-up cinema in rural locations across Suffolk, where there are no cinemas or arts centres.

Cambridge Film Trust - who run the huge outdoor cinema in Grantchester Meadows - are providing the tech and a huge cinema screen, guaranteeing that these movies will be visually spectacular!

Gourmet popcorn will be available. Bring your own cushion or a chair.
