Dance music ‘royalty’ lined up for new festival in Mildenhall
Thousands of people are set to descend to Mildenhall Stadium on June 25/26 or a new annual dance music festival.
Ministry of Sound have confirmed they are to host a main stage – a giant 12 legged illuminating inflatable structure (the only one of its kind) at BIG Music Festival alongside some of the UKs biggest and the regions most established club brands uniting together to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the award winning promoters - BIG.
The line-up of artists scheduled to appear which features over 100 acts, with some of the biggest names from the global dance scene, including internationally acclaimed superstar Jaguar Skills, Radio 1 legend Dave Pearce and Kiss FMs Charlie Hedges & DJ S.K.T plus chart toppers Danny Byrd and UK Garage favorites DJ Luck and MC Neat alongside the legendary Ratpack and Slipmatt.
Also supporting fresh new talent with acts like Royal T, man of the moment - Kideko, as well as some of the industry’s biggest and leading acts such as SASASAS, Logan D, Harry Shotta Show, Andy Whitby, Alex Kidd & Mark EG.
BIG are no strangers to the festival scene, following on from last year’s hugely successful Halloween event “Zombie Fest” at the Stadium and the massive 2008/9 Dance Islands, the organisers, along with several promoters have planned what is to be East Anglia’s biggest and best dance festival to date.
The event is aimed at music fans of House, Drum & Bass, Hard Dance, Trance, Hardcore, Bassline and Old Skool and is East Anglia’s biggest dedicated electronic music event of the year, which will take over the stadium for two days of music, camping and much more which will become a prominent fixture in the music festival programme.
BIG Music Festival is an age 16+ event and features eight huge arenas and stages plus a VIP area, but is more than just music with weekend camping and camper-van facilities available, a fun-fair, a food village with a delicious range of foods to suit all, a chill-out area and trade stalls.
Tickets are already on sale and early bird tickets have sold out. The festival has already created a massive buzz all over the Internet and over 3,000 people have already signed up to BIG Music Festival on its social sites.
