Bardwell Open Gardens has something for everyone
Gardeners of all ages, interests and abilities are certain to enjoy Bardwell’s Open Gardens on Sunday, June 19, from 1.30pm to 6.30pm.
Beginning in the garden of a 15th century property with an ancient yew tree and medieval well, others include the extensive cottage garden of The Six Bells Inn (a location in Dad’s Army), the picture perfect cottage garden of the 19th century cottage once occupied by the first VC holder in Suffolk, Henry Addison VC, an arboretum and pond with rare and native plants, a Mediterranean terrace, a knot garden, wisteria, roses, alpine garden, newly planted orchard of apple and pears, and much more.
Teas and plants will be available at various locations. Parking on the Village Green (sat nav IP31 1AW)

Entry is £4 per adult. Accompanied children (under 16’s) free.
