Weekend football results: Wins for Needham, Hadleigh, Haverhill Rovers and Mildenhall Town while AFC Sudbury exit cup and Bury Town force replay in dramatic fashion

Needham Market secured thier first away win in the Ryman League Premier Division in the standout result locally, with Mark Morsley’s side’s 2-0 victory at Hendo coming courtesy of first-half goals from Adam Mills and Luke Ingram.

Elswhere, there was late drama at Bury Town as midfielder Craig Nurse, who had gone in goal after Neil O’Sullivan was shown a straight red card in the 90th minute at 1-0 down, converted a 95th minute corner to force a replay at Herne Bay tomorrow, leaving them as the only Suffolk side left in the FA Trophy after AFC Sudbury suffered a 3-1 defeat (Jordan Blackwell 39, HT 1-1) at Hampton & Richmond Borough, while an injury-time winner went against Leiston.
