VIDEO: Godbold challenges Sudbury to embrace favourites tag

AFC Sudbury manager Jamie Godbold has challenged his side to embrace their favourites tag.

An emphatic 5-1 victory over 10-man basement-boys Redbridge on Saturday courtesy of a hat-trick from Luke Callander, a solitary strike from captain Sam Clarke and an own-goal, maintained the Yellows’ charge to the Ryman League Division One North title where they sit 12 points clear of nearest rivals Thurrock.

And with just nine games remaining of the campaign, Godbold is adamant his charges have embraced the new found pressure of being title favourites as they now turn their attention to Saturday’s trip to fourth-placed AFC Hornchurch.
