Hadleigh United lost their third successive league match as Kirkley’s Ross King claimed a hat-trick at the Millfield on Tuesday.

King bundled in his first goal after 23 minutes as Hadleigh failed to deal with a corner kick, appeals for a foul on keeper Dan Heath being waved away

Heath made a fine save from Maxwell Kirby before Marcus Josiah equalised with a shot from the right that deceived keeper Jordan Smith.

Kirkley broke away at speed and King made it 2-1 before Hadleigh were again caught out by a corner after 74 minutes and King gratefully accepted the chance for their third.

Two minutes before 
the end, Kris Rose left keeper Smith standing with a good finish to reduce the deficit.
