THE Talbots are celebrating their first Premier League win after outgunning Burwell on Saturday.
A 27-run victory which saw Sudbury win the toss and elect to bat, racking up 239 all out from their 65.4 overs, leaves the Suffolk newcomers in ninth place, three off the bottom, after four matches.
Sudbury’s top run scorer was Craig smith, with 48, and he also starred with the ball, taking three wickets.
Meanwhile, Halstead suffered another heavy defeat, losing by eight wickets to a strong Vauxhall Mallards outfit, with Halstead having posted 171 all out at Star Stile.
