Stowmarket’s Lewis Cracknell and Soham-based Sudbury Town thrower Brett Claydon begin their Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) Qualifying School campaigns this afternoon.

Claydon and Cracknell are among a field of 400 players all bidding to win a tour card on the PDC circuit, with the four-day event starting at Wigan’s Robin Park Tennis Centre today.

The final four players left in today’s tournament will receive a tour card, while all the other players will pick up ranking points based on how far they got, which will go towards the Q-School Order of Merit.

Claydon has been drawn out on board 10 against Darren Brown, while Cracknell starts off against Jason Marriott on board 12.
