The final Presentation Night of the Border Invitation League was well supported at Glemsford Social Club as 64 members took part in the crib drive.
Winning six out of the seven games, John Sharp and David Bracher (Clare Bell) took the first prize of £20, while Bill and Teresa Nichol (Barnardiston Arms) were the runners-up and won £10.
Losing all seven games, the booby prize went to Lee Phillips and Roy Wheatley (Barnardiston Arms).
Beryl Farrance presented the cups and trophies to the winners.

n Clare Bell jumped up three places to top the Clare Summer League, winning on all three tables at home to Glemsford Black Lion.
One point behind, holding on to second spot, are Glemsford Club, who had a narrow 8-7 victory to knock Melford Working Men’s Club B off the top and down four places into fifth.
Cavendish Bull took four points off visitors Stoke-by-Clare Lion A with a 9-6 win, while the Stoke Lion B team handed out a 9-6 defeat on luckless Working Men’s Club A, who are still looking for their first win.
