Norwich City fan Edwards Seaman says: Loving every minute of a dramatic turnaround

I don’t think we could have asked for a better Easter weekend, could we?

Two wins and two clean sheets against Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday has propelled City into the top two with just five games to go, a remarkable turn-around.

And to all extents and purposes it was the Bradley Johnson show, scoring all three goals across the bank holiday.

It adds into what has already been a fantastic season for Johnson, who is cantering towards the Player of the Season trophy, an accolade he would fully deserve.

It takes his goal tally to 13, including spectacular goals that have added an extra dimension to his game.

Let’s not forget, Johnson is a player who has come under scrutiny throughout his City career but his tenacity in midfield and composure in possession has shone through this season.

It is that tenacity that probably led to his 10th booking of the season, having been desperate to get back on the pitch following a forearm to the face.

Johnson will miss the trips to Bolton tomorrow and Leeds on Tuesday and although he will be a big miss, it’s time for City’s fringe players to step-up.

Throughout the season the strength of our squad has been heavily discussed and that has to show.

Alex Neil could turn to Nathan Redmond, who showed how devastating he can be from the bench to set up the winner at Brighton, answering my call to reproduce his England Under-21s form.

I would like to see Alex Neil give Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe his chance.

Vadis has been unlucky with injury since his arrival and his return could almost be like a new signing.

There is no doubt he comes with pedigree, and can be relied on when needed.

With six wins and two draws from our eight away games under Neil, there is no reason why we can’t achieve the maximum again this week.

With the pace at the top being as relentless as it is, we may just need to.
