Great Cornard Angling Club’s penultimate match was fished at Kettles Farm, with high winds making it difficult. Overcoming this best was Ivan Walford, who tempted 28lb of carp and 6.5lb of silvers for 35.5lb.

Mick Norris was in second with 26lb. Third was Brian Terry with 16lb 14oz.

The final match was a club match, held at Cable Pond, Clare, on Sunday. Due to a lack of members wishing to fish matches, this part will no longer be active.

Members wishing to join to obtain their LAA member ticket will still be able to do so through Mick Norris. Prices are £40 for adults, £25 registered disabled and seniors; £20 juniors.
