Spanish disappointment for Moul on European Tour

JAMIE Moul failed to make the cut on the European Tour’s Open de Andalucía Costa del Sol in Andalucia, Spain.

The Stoke-by-Nayland Golf Club professional carded rounds of 76 and 69 to leave him one over par following Thursday’s start, but that was not good enough to make it into the weekend’s play, leaving him without any prize money.

Julien Quesne produced the round of his life on the final day of to finish 17 under par at Aloha Golf Club to walk away with the €166,660 winner’s prize.

Moul, 27, tees off at the Trophée Hassan II at the Golf du Palais Royal, Agadir, Morocco today where he will be looking to recover the form which saw him earn his first top 40 finish on the tour last month.
