Sudbury Snooker Club A are the early group leaders of the Sudbury and District League Handicap Cup after winning their opening two matches.
Their latest success came at the hands of their B side, for whom Bob Adams was the only winner.
Tibby Maxim won two frames for the A side for the second week in succession.
The Hedingham side sit just one point behind the Snooker Club after they racked up a 3-2 win at Lavenham Legion A with Chris Hillman edging the final frame of the contest against Legion captain Paul Garrard.
Holders Sible Hedingham are the only other unbeaten team after they wrapped up a 3-2 win against Lavenham Legion B in what was a repeat of last years’ final.
Earls Colne B gained a narrow 3-2 victory over S Club 47.
This match saw a fine break of 60 by Colin Ballard in his win over Andy Lovesey.
Just for good measure, Ballard also knocked in a 21 in the same frame — his opponent being restricted to scoring just six points on top of his handicap.
Melford Working Men’s C join Sudbury SC B and Lavenham Legion B as the only teams yet to register a win after they were beaten 3-2 at home by Earls Colne A.
