Sudbury Motorcycle Club are expecting an exciting finale to the season when the curtain comes down on the Bowers Motorcycles/Eastern Centre Two Man Enduro contest on Sunday.
The first four team riders go off at 10am at Foxborough Quarry, on Halstead Road, Sible Hedingham, followed by the rest of the teams, four every minute with each team member riding for 30 minutes in relay.
It will take the format of a four-hour endurance event, which may be split into two equal timed sessions with all teams competing on the gruelling course with its bogs and extreme sections.
In the championship class Stephen Revett and Lee Whitney are two points ahead of Adam Leeks and Darren Mayhew with Revett/Whitney having the upper hand as all of their points scored will count, while Leeks/Mayhew can only score a maximum of 15 points.
Michael Wyatt and Richard Bensley have already won the experts class with an unbeatable 28-point lead over Toby Morley and Stuart Milbourne with Sudbury pairing Graham Mays and Nigel Ross – with a combined age of 97 years – one point behind.
