A host of Sudbury Rowing Club juniors made their way to Nottingham to compete in the British championships, with some enjoying medal success.
Competing against some of the best young rowers in the country, Nicholas Scott again displayed his burgeoning potential with an impressive display to secure a bronze medal in the J14 single scull caregory.
There was also further success for Molly Shaw, who made up part of the composite eight as she helped the team in a powerful performance to also secure a bronze medal.
Thomas Bowles was also in action in the hotly-contested J18 single sculls, where he gave a promising display in the time trials to reach the E final.
n Elsewhere, the club sent nine crews along to compete in the annual Bedford sprint regatta, with five making their way into finals of which two won.
The first victory came in the single scull junior 14 category where Nicholas Scott maintained his recent strong form to power his way to victory.
There was also success for juniors Shaw and Victoria Burgess, who sealed victory in the senior women’s three category.
Bowles, Shaw, and Burgess also made their way into finals in the single scull intermediate two, women’s intermediate three and junior 16 categories respectively.
Lara Thomas and Natalie Cox also put in a strong performance in their first ever regatta
