Round four of the Eastern Centre Solo Motocross Championships, were held at Motoland, Mildenhall.

Halstead club riders enjoyed success in the Expert Championship, with Jason Morland taking fourth overall with fellow club rider Brad Tomlin fifth overall and Brendon Mayers seventh.

Tomlin’s position in the points table after this round is third, with Morland fourth.

Charlie Powell, a newcomer to the club, had an overall win in the Junior Championship. Powell took second places and won the third from his three races.

In the Junior support races, there was a second overall for Nathan Attwood in Group B, while in Group C, Ellis Tuckey took fourth overall with Joe Marsh fifth.

In round five of the EASSC Summer Championships, held at East Trax, club riders also played their part by gaining good results - these schoolboys are the backbone of the club in the future.

In the Vets Class, as in previous rounds, Glen Bixby took two race wins and a second to secure top place overall.

Vince Pryke was ninth overall.

There was spectacular riding in the Senior Class, Austin Eary taking three race wins for first place overall.

Glen Bixby continued to take brilliant results in the Open Class for second overall.
