STOKE-BY-NAYLAND golfer Jamie Moul finished tied 73rd place in the ISPS Handa Wales Open to earn €3,348 in European Tour prize money.
The 27-year-old carded rounds of 78, 67, 77 and 80 at The Celtic Manor Resort from last Thursday to enter the clubhouse 18 over par and 24 shots behind eventual winner Thongchai Jaidee from Thailand.
It was the first cut Stoke-by-Nayland Golf Club’s playing professional had made since March’s Trophée Hassan II in Morocco in five European Tour events, ending a testing few months.
Moul teed off at the Nordea Masters in Stockholm, Sweden yesterday alongside Italian Andrea Pavan and Englishman Oliver Wilson. The tournament is being shown live on Sky Sports One.
