Two Cycle Club Sudbury riders set personal best times in the Shaftsbury Middle Markers open 25-mile time trial on the E2/25 course.
Jamie Howe recorded 57 minutes 16 seconds and Jodie Downs 58.43, both comfortably coming in under the magic hour-mark.
Also in a 25, but on a slower course —Bloomsgate Open — Jonathan Weatherly (59.39), Darren Rule (1.00.50) and Simon Daw (1.01.46) were sixth, ninth and 12th respectively.
The club time trial was on the twisty Acton course and was won by Rob Davies (19.27) from Rule (19.33) and James Rush (19.54).
Two riders who showed significant improvement were David Fenn (25.30) and Howe (19.57).
The points competition is wide open with Davies leading on 273 from Howe 267 and Joe Swain 258.
The Thursday club TT is on the Hitcham Hilly course, starting at 7.30pm.
