Melford add another trophy to their tally

Melford Working Men’s Club added another trophy to their collection in the Clare Summer Cribbage League by winning the Knockout Shield by just one point, in the final against Cavendish Bull.

Each table finished with a 3-2 result with the Melford side, who had previously won the League championship by just one point, winning on two tables to secure a close 8-7 victory.

The Working Men’s Club have won all three competitions played for so far this season with one member of the team already winning the Singles Cup.

The remaining two competitions the Captains Cup and the Doubles Cup will be played for at the finals night.
