Joggers give it their very best

A raft of personal bests (pb) were ahcieved as 17 members of Sudbury Joggers took part in the Tarpley 10 and 20-mile races on what was a cold and blustery Sunday morning.

For many this was their first time racing for the Joggers, with the club led home in the 10 mile race by Sarah Pennock with a time of one hour 30 minutes and three seconds.

She was followed by Stephen Rulton 1.32.55, Bianca Burman 1.33.56 (pb), Clare Gillibrand 1.38.52, Debbie Harman 1.39.08 (pb), Lindsay Hobden 1.39.48, Lisa Dalton 1.40.20, Sharon Breward 1.45.48 (pb) Melonie Evans 1.47.13 (pb) and Kat Ross 1.47.25 (pb).

In the 20 mile race, Tom Challener was first home with a time of 2.12.45 (pb).

He was followed by Andy Buck 2.19.48, Ben Cuthbert 2.29.59 (pb), Jim Comber 2.45.46 (pb), Dee St Ledger 2.52.39, Gin Craig 3.15.05 (pb) and Dom Turner 3.18.06 (pb).
