CHRIS Tracey has been handed the AFC Sudbury’s managers job until the end of the season.
The former defender was initially handed the reigns on a caretaker basis following Nicky Smith’s resignation until Christmas.
But after guiding the Yellows to four wins from six games, has been the job full-time until the end of the current campaign.
A statement released by the club last night read: “The Board of Directors of AFC Sudbury is pleased to announce Chris Tracey has been appointed as the club’s first team manager until the end of the current season.
The board have been impressed with the way in which Chris has taken charge of the team over the last month and the way players have responded during this period. We wish him every success for the future”.
AFC Sudbury thrashed fellow league side Great Wakering Rovers 6-1 in the FA Trophy on Saturday and travel to Blue Square Bet Conference South side Eastbourne Borough in the FA Cup third qualifying round on Saturday.
