AFC Sudbury stretched their winning league run to four games to thrust them to within three points of a play-off place after a gutsy defensive display.

The Yellows found themselves camped in their own half for long periods of the game but a rather fortuitous bouncing long-range effort from Robbie Martin in the second half somehow proved enough to take all three points.

Goalkeeper Danny Gay was far the busiest between the sticks and his efforts were helped by a serious of strong blocks from striker James Baker of all people in the second half to ensure it is now 510 minutes since a goal last went past them.
