AFC face FA Cup replay while Talbots earn survival

AFC Sudbury will try to overcome St Ives Town again on Tuesday night after a goaless draw in Cambridgeshire on Saturday, while Hadleigh United and Long Melford’s cup journeys ended at higher-league opponents.

Goalkeeper Danny Gay helped Sudbury earnt a replay at St Ives with a series of saves, which will take place at King’s Marsh on Tuesday night (7.45pm).

In the cricket Sudbury beat Vauxhall Mallards, batting second, by two wickets to ensure survival in the East Anglian Premier League with two matches still to play. Hasantha Fernando was the star of the show at Friars Street, taking five wickets.
