Three generations of the same family took to the field for Earls Colne in a 35-over cricket match against Twinstead last week.
The three Callaghans played a significant role in the match, which ended in a 47-run victory for the Colne Casuals side, who batted first.
The youngest member of the trio Oliver, 13, bowled three overs for just seven runs while his grandad Greg, 67, also turned his arm over with three overs, 0-20.
Harry, 39, scored 42, took one catch and a stumping as Earls Colne reached 189-9.
“I was brought up playing cricket with my dad and it was nice to be able to repeat it this time including my son,” said Harry
Other contributors to the Colne score were Ben Mason with 50, Jack Holdgate with 42 and Daryl Sleeman with 33.
Colne’s Ben Mason took four wickets for 13 runs as Twinstead were restricted to 142-7.
