Breaking news: Paul Grainger resigns as manager of Cornard United
Paul Grainger resigned as Cornard United manager last night after just three games into the new season.
The Ards boss returned for a second spell in charge at Blackhouse Lane at the end of August last year and guided the team to 18th in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division.
And after starting the season with three consecutive defeats to sit bottom of the table, Grainger announced he was stepping down from the role late last night.
Grainger posted on Twitter: “Resigned as Cornard manager tonight, sorry to leave a great bunch of lads but time was right for me and players to part ways. All best ARDS!”
