AFC continue to flirt with danger
AFC Sudbury continue to look nervously over their shoulder after losing 2-0 at fellow Ryman League Premier Division strugglers Leatherhead last night.
The Yellows, who made the trip to Surrey for a third time following two postponements earlier in the season, fell behind in the 29th minute to a Nana Boakye-Yiadom goal.
And Jimmy Bullard’s side secured the victory six minutes from time through Kadell Danie.
To make matters worse for Sudbury, goalkeeper Marcus Garnham had to be substituted at half-time because of a foot injury.
On Saturday, Jamie Godbold’s men (19th) head to 16th-placed Met Police (3pm) with just three points separating them from Wednesday’s victors, who occupy the final relegation spot.
