Thank goodness the holiday season is nearly over – at least we won’t have to listen to the tourists saying what a dump Sudbury Bus Station is.

Nice job with the Borehamgate precinct, by the way, except the seats are far too big and have no backs on them. The kids enjoy running around the tops of the seats with their dirty shoes. Perhaps the seats should have been installed in the children’s play area?

Also, why are there now steps and a ramp that ends close to a wall? A more gentle gradient than before was easily achievable.

Perhaps it is to create more of a challenge for users of wheelchairs and pushchairs and those with mobility and sight problems.

I have lived in the Sudbury area for 37 years and I’ve never before seen such a wicked waste of money on things that are not important. Isn’t the centre of Sudbury important?

Can someone tell me what is going on with the town hall that seems to have been shrouded in sheeting for most of this year? Perhaps this is becoming a secret building with “evil doings afoot”?

I pity anyone who has a wedding planned at the town hall and wanted to use the building as an impressive back-drop for photos.

I thought that councillors were elected to represent the residents and the area and not for making unfounded comments and pointless photo-shoots.

Some of our councillors should stop trying to make a name for themselves and concentrate on the important issues for our town while we still have a town that others wish to visit.
