FOR a long time I have put off writing this letter, hoping things will get better, but to no avail. Walking along the Melford Road in the dark is like walking through a minefield.
There seem to be so many irresponsible doggy walkers these days that do not care about their animals leaving their calling cards on the pavement in front of people’s houses.
Do they even think what it must be like to have young children in pushchairs running into mess on the ground and taking it indoors on the wheels?
Surely it isn’t too much to ask them to take a couple of plastic bags with them on their journey towards the Croft, and to have a little thought for other people.
