THE letter from Keith Theobald about Christmas lights had me chuckling (Free Press, December 15), blue and silver instead of red and gold. There’s no pleasing some people. Oh, and the Christmas tree was in the wrong place.
I know where I’d put it!
He should live in Clacton. Up until a few weeks ago our town council said it was so skint there was no money for Christmas lights.
But for a few businessmen who organised the lights and paid for them out of their own pockets, Clacton would be as miserable as any seaside town in winter.
