I think Mr Bullimore of the Grover and Allen pub was quite right (Family baffled by town pub’s two-drink limit, March 28).
I might sound like a narrow minded old bore, but I am abstemious and a non-smoker - both are such a waste of money.
Water was designed for our organs - alcohol can ruin reason in the brain, the kidneys eventually may need dialysis, diabetes may occur, and cirrhosis of the liver - our largest organ.
As to the children running about, as if in a playground, that was awful. They should be tired at that time, and made to sit still.
