Your chance to shine in dance

A CHOREOGRAPHER from Clare has founded a new dance company providing classes and workshops for youngsters.

Heidi Stubbings, 25, launched High Definition Dance at the start of the year with the aim of encouraging youngsters to dance.

The dance teacher and professionally-trained choreographer hopes the company will allow her to continue her dance career by passing on skills and knowledge to the next generation of young dancers.

“I want to give young people in the area the opportunity to study a variety of dance styles, giving them a head start in the dance industry and empowering them to achieve their dreams,” said Heidi.

“Opportunities to study current dance trends are scarce in Suffolk, but by offering classes in hip-hop and contemporary dance, I’m able to give youngsters an insight into what’s happening now in the dance scene.”

Alongside these classes, Heidi is also running an advanced level dance class for those who have trained in dance from childhood and who have pursued careers in the industry.

High Definition Dance runs classes at The Curve at Sudbury Upper School at 5.15pm every Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
