Wreaths laid in Lavenham by family of fallen soldier at Remembrance Day

Wreaths were laid at Market Place in Lavenham on Sunday to commemorate Remembrance Day with military personnel from the British and US armed forces in attendance.
After the wreath laying service in Market Place the parade was led to St Peter and St Paul’s Church where a service of remembrance was held.
Soldiers from 7 Air Assault Btn REME from Wattisham took part in the parade among members of the Royal British Legion and local scout, guide and brownie groups.
Among those laying wreaths were USAF Major Harry Starnes, Flight Commander 492d fighter squadron Lakenheath; Carroll Reeve chairman of Lavenham parish council; Falconer Wallace, president of the Lavenham branch of the Royal British Legion and Tony Woodgate, father of Jo Woodgate, Corporal of Horse, the Blues and Royals who was killed on his last day of his tour in Afghanistan in March 2010 at the age of 26.
