Woman seriously injured after collision on A134

A woman suffered serious injuries after a collision involving a motorbike and a car on the A134.

The crash took place at around 2pm on Sunday, July 31, and involved a BMW and a Suzuki on Horkesley Hill at the Bear Street junction in Nayland.

The 25-year-old woman, who was riding the motorbike, suffered serious injuries including broken legs and a significant cut to her arm. She was taken to Colchester hospital.

The man driving the BMW, who is in his 70s, sustained cuts and bruises.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision on 101 quoting CAD 222 of July 31.
