A pedestrian was taken to hospital with head injuries after being hit by a car in Hadleigh.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was struck by the car in Calais Street shortly before 2pm on Thursday. Five vehicles were involved in the incident.
The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge by air ambulance.
Despite suffering injuries to her head, her condition was not thought to be life-threatening.
The cars involved were a green Jaguar, a silver Toyota Avensis, a red Peugeot 406, a black BMW and a silver Peugeot 307. No-one else was seriously hurt.
