Stroke survivors were among almost 150 people who stepped out for a fundraising event on Sunday.
The run, in aid of local support group Success After Stroke, was held in the grounds of Auberies at Bulmer Tye – the setting for the famous Gainsborough painting Mr and Mrs Andrews.
“Everyone said it was a beautiful course, even though it was fairly tough because, being at the top of Ballingdon Hill, it is quite hilly,” said SAS trustee Louise St John Howe.
“Over 100 runners, and 40 SAS members who could walk a special course, took part. It went really well.”
The amount raised will not be known until all the sponsorship money has been collected.
