White Horse pub in Edwardstone kicks off winter beer festival

The annual Edwardstone White Horse winter beer festival kicked off at the weekend, with a focus on British craft and cask beers.

Pub owner John Norton said the festival got off to a good start on Friday night, with live music played on Saturday night.

“It goes on for nine days over two weekends,” he said. “To encourage safe consumption, we’ll be offering third, half and three-quarter pint options, so people can try an array of beers in a more sensible manner.”

Also featured are ales from the pub’s own brewery, Little Earth Project.
