A man is set to be formally charged with the murders of a Weybread couple today, when he appears at Ipswich Magistrates Court.

Ali Qazimaj, 42, of Essex, was collected by the Suffolk and Norfolk Joint Major Investigation Team yesterday, following his extradition from Luxembourg, in connection to the murder enquiry of Peter Stuart, aged 75, and his wife, Sylvia, 69.

Qazimaj, who was first arrested in Luxembourg City on June 16 via a European Arrest Warrant, was taken into custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre, upon his arrival in the UK.

He will now appear before Ipswich magistrates this morning, and may also appear at a Crown Court hearing this afternoon.
