Weekend football round-up: Wins for Sudbury, Bury and Haverhill Rovers but Newmarket match abandoned and Diss suffer defeat

AFC Sudbury pulled off the result of the weekend locally by winning 1-0 at higher-league Hendon yesterday (Sunday) to knock them out of the FA Trophy, while Bury Town also progressed in the competition and there was a dramatic last-minute winner from Haverhill Rovers’ debutant Scott Kemp to seal a derby win over Saffron Walden Town.
