A fabric weaving company has launched a new website, inviting people to find out what happens behind its office doors.
Humphries Weaving, based in Cornard Road, Sudbury, has been in the business of custom weaving for more than 40 years.
It hopes its interactive site will allow people to view projects its staff have worked on, as well as its contribution to Sudbury’s silk history.
The website showcases the firm’s internationally-acclaimed work – some of which can be found in palaces, museums, British embassies and luxury residences.
“The new website gives people a unique access to the vast catalogue of historical and contemporary projects we have had the privilege of working on,” said Richard Humphries MBE, director of Humphries Weaving.
“For the first time, it brings together examples of the textiles we create and the stories behind them to give a fascinating insight into the beautiful work created here.”
The website also explores the company’s heritage and the history of silk weaving in the town.
