Community wardens will be highlighting the problems of dog mess during a public event next week.

As part of the regular “warden Wednesdays”, which are held around Sudbury to tackle issues of concern, town warden Alex Payne will be on The Croft between 2pm and 4pm.

“Dog fouling is something that is worrying a lot of people and The Croft is an area that has been badly affected recently,” Mr Payne said.

“We want people to come to tell us when and where this is happening so we can try to put a stop to it.”

Mr Payne will be joined by Jo Hart, Babergh District Council’s senior environmental officer.
