Village set to install life-saving equipment
White Colne is preparing to install a life-saving piece of equipment.
The parish council has purchased a defibrillator and cabinet costing £1,800. It will be fitted to the exterior wall of the village hall in Bures Road.
As well as covering part of the cost towards the equipment from its reserves, the parish council has also set aside funding to run training sessions on using the defibrillator.
