People in Glemsford stand to benefit from faster internet use after two areas were upgraded to fibre-optic broadband.

The two street cabinets, which serve postcodes beginning CO10 7, are located in Third Avenue and Weaver’s Drive.

The improvements – part of the Suffolk Better Broadband Programme Team, which is funded by Suffolk County Council and Babergh District Council – aims to deliver a superfast broadband network to businesses and households.

Local residents and businesses can contact their internet provider as well as the programme team to find out how they can benefit.
