Schoolgirl Victoria Tapp will go down in Sudbury Amateur Boxing Club’s history.

The 15-year-old Hadleigh High School student, back row, right of centre, has been awarded a merit by the club, which is based in Great Cornard – becoming the first female to achieve the accolade in the club’s history.

Victoria’s mum Samantha said her daughter loves boxing and goes twice a week to the club, where she is taught by head coach Neil Anderson, third from right.

“It is fantastic for her as she has autism and it has made a real difference to her life,” she said.
