TV crews to film antique experts

TWO of Britain’s best-loved antiques experts will be stopping off in Sudbury and Lavenham this week as part of BBC Two’s Antiques Road Trip.

Philip Serrell and David Barby will be working together to try to make as much money as possible buying and selling antiques in west Suffolk on Wednesday, February 2.

The programme, which is returning for a second series, will see the pair driving around in a classic car, searching high and low for hidden treasures.

The duo will be given a starting budget of £200 and will be putting their knowledge to the test against 10 other experts as they set out to trade up the antiques they find at an auction.

Antiques Road Trip is on weekdays at 5.15pm on BBC Two.
