Britain’s first female firefighter, Josephine Reynolds, is visiting Sudbury and Clare libraries to share her story.

Her talk will centre on her new book, Fire Woman, and how she came to join Norfolk Fire Service in 1982.

Mrs Reynolds will be in Clare on July 6 from 6.30pm, and in Sudbury on July 12 from 7pm.

Copies of Fire Woman will be available.
