CYCLISTS are being offered the chance to make a difference to the lives of wounded troops.
The Ride to Recovery – a special bike ride in aid of Help for Heroes’ newest recovery centre – will be winding its way through Sudbury, Castle Hedingham and along the River Stour on Sunday, September 23.
All money raised from the event will go towards supporting Chavasse House in Colchester, where the ride begins.
Bryn Parry OBE, co-founder of Help for Heroes, said: “The ride is a great opportunity for people to take part in a fantastic day out and support a local cause.
“We may not be able to prevent our service men and women from being hurt but we can certainly do our bit to help them get better.”
There will be three different distances on the day – a 10, 35 or 70-mile route.
